tarragon and trepidation

tarragon and trepidation
in degradation of
the dragon days
of distant summers

dreams could fold
in old and mushrooms
learned in sensibilities
of those screaming

normal

mediocrity can
shake a soul naked
cold and left to
empty pots of gold
stolen by those
who say
be reasonable

unless you decline
