This is an old poem i've been doing some editing on- My first post on this sight- check it out and let me know what you think.
Dark reflections
drip
with sexuality
and visions
of vultures
and dark deities
and of black
magick
wizardry
fills me
with some sweet mystery
that swims the
vast
deep
depths of me
and finally
surfaces
as beauty
as
castles
sink into
electric blue
trees rising from earth
like knarled hands
like torsos of devils
stretching up from the land
Scapes of my mind
reaching for skies
stained blue
'
and somewhere in-between
the fragile skin
of truth and dreams
shining beneath
a wicked moon
we must sacrifice that which we know
laid out in the shamans tomb
to be cleansed
beneath
a sacred moon
that shines like an ancient amulet
against the skin of night
Because with two good eyes
we still don’t see
and clarity
is brought to thee
inside that
ancient
mystictrinity
of three
two eyes to preceive
three eyes to see
the cosmic evolution
inside of you and me
because we are born
one with the stars
the darkness and the light
and our skin is made of sun
our insides made of night
and one must close their human eyes
to preceive the cosmic light
black opal eye
of the divine
will lead you to true sight
and I pant my skin
like yin
and yang
an adjacent sun and moon
and all that is and ever was
is there inside my womb
and these dark reflections
that drip
with sexuallity
they enrapture me
for they are a part
of all that is
and that will ever be
and it is this awareness
that sets me free
cuz it takes two eyes to see
and one to be
two eyes to preceive
and three to see
in the kingdom of the third eye
there are strange dark dietys
that dance with the entities
draped in white
across the cosmic ball room floor
of day and night
And they dance
To the symphony of cosmic light
Close your human eyes and see
That it takes two eyes to preceive and three to see.
Two eyes to preceive and three to see.

A fine, flowing, liquid write, with great images--some more than just a tad dark--really a rather expectional piece of verse I thought! bravo!

Welcome to AP and if this poem is a sample of what we have in store you will be a terrific addition to our Bohemian community.
I really like the way the rhyme, twists and weaves through this piece. Vivid imagery and fun to read.
I see your from Vermont, I've lived south a long time but New England is my home as well.
