You are very talented, Claire; and, your use of metaphors to represent a manipulator are most artfully displayed quite well. Manipulators always leave their victims hanging without answers and without closure.

this is a intense poem to me. the imagery is dark. I really love the entire poem but my fav part is the last stanza. this poem sort of reminds me of my mom.. in a creepy/eerie sort of way..
