hope
becomes dust

eternally frozen

wow. in so few words you have certainly captured some power here. a great write here. loved how descriptions were dusty, and then frozen. interesting combination.

I can relate to this. My dad worked in DC at the time for the federal government, so we thought something might have happened to him.

so true Daddy.. time stood still that day.and hope turned to ashes.. I won't forget that day not ever.. the images that your words create are vivid and still fresh are the images of the terror that day.. I remember where I was when it happened. I was at work and saw it all unfold on t.v.
Excellent job on this one Daddy
good luck
