There is a girl,
Helpless and sad,
Im watching her now,
Her lifes pretty bad,
Im the all knowing narrator,
I m the one behind the mask,
I do whatever I want with her,
Im taking her to the past,
I can rewind the now,
And look upon yesterday,
I have the power,
Mines the only say,
I am the only witness,
To her pain and agony,
I am here to see her,
Even though she cant see me,
This girl is using,
At one time she was not,
At one time she was happy,
Nothing is what shes got,
Her family may love her,
Because they don’t know the truth,
But she knows it only a matter of time,
Until they see it too,
Yesterday she was using,
Today is just the same,
Now the depression kicks in,
Now she feels the pain,
She stumbles all over,
Not knowing where she is,
She loves the high,
But doesn’t want to die,
She cant deal with this

I like how you became the man behind the mask. This is a beautiful write! Congratulations on the Honorable Winner!

This is the reason I love writing. We can invent a character, change her life around; re-invent her, crush her dreams or make them come true. A strange kind of power we have but it's sure fun!

I like this one... especially the part about the writer being the narrator and having control of the girl... that you are able to take her into her past... having her using... whatever. Good creative write. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

Ah I can relate to this all too well, I led that double life for many, many years. Only through the grace of God did I survive and get away from it...Scott

You showed me something that was far beyond what my eyes could see. Absolutely fantastic write.

lots of emotion in this and it tells the reality of a double life. The one we show the world and the one that we try to hide.
There are some spelling errors; mostly leaving out apostrophes
which is easy to fix.
