Notes

Rhapsodies dissolving
deeply into riparian
blue hues.

Can you hear the
forgotten hymns and
rising symphonies?

Echoing within cathedrals
now guarding her lost Sonata.
Her notes became
lost sounds sinking in
times tidal requiem.

Let her dream once more
of castles constructed with music itself.

I only know 'riparian' from a Garfield comic! I can't believe you used that word so eloquently. Yeah, I liked the rest of it, too! G

Simply beautiful. The last line made this write for me!

  • absolutely amazing

  • This is a wonderful write. I'll admit though, I didn't know some of the words. Well, one word, but the others aren't used very much. This is a well constructed piece. Best of luck in the contest!
