fifteen days
thirty kisses
forty five dances
seventy I love you's
Captured and framed
for visitors to codone our folly.
We ran away like strangers
still roped forever
creating solace necklaces
~all fake~
surrendering heartless love
into an abyss.
And these days all I do
is hear and feel my body shudder
to a broken record
cluttered over my dying body.
Author notes
This is about a relationship gone bad!!! The word clutter inspired me to talk about a woman whose life though with people is still cluttered with feelings of sadness and loneliness

Still trying to get my head around this one.... not a very long poem, indeed, but there is a ton there to digest. It's a nice write....I particularly like "surrendering heartless love/ into an abyss" Well done.
