I arose in the night.
A smell so delightful.
A hunger so frightful,
that it made me want to fight.
And the darkness in me loved the sight;
And how She wanted him dead.
"I'm yours...I'm yours," he said.
But I did not kill him that night.
I was his; He was mine.
His eyes saw my soul; His tongue tasted my sin.
I did not trust him
"On blood we shall dine."
I could feel his fangs dig into my skin.
I did not trust him.
Author notes
A sonnet, based of a dream and then a story I wrote from that dream. It' s the sequel to Bitten.

Aha, vampires!
Niceoly done - gives me a twinge of Twilght, with Bella & James!
Thought the opening was very nicely managed - with the rhymes similar to the wordings.
Nice job thanks for entering

Awesome sonnet, although it's not the one we learned today in class, but it's still superb!
I love how you wrote two poems in two different forms and made them sequels....awesomeness.

Thank you. I wanted to challenge my self with this one, haha and writing sonnets has turned out to be more fun than I thought.
