Sleep

Moon so bright,
Shining this night,
The air so warm,
It feels just right.
The hard feeling,
Beneath my feet,
As I walk along,
That eerie street.
The moon disappearing,
Behind the trees,
As I walk towards,
The water with ease.
The cool waves,
Along my legs,
Its velvet sheet,
Covers my head,
As I lay down,
And go to sleep.
I shall not wake,
From eternal sleep.

I watch the moon whenever I can... And this is a brilliant poem -- well maybe not for the the eternal sleep -- but still. I like the details you put in.
