We have been dating for years,
but you still barely know me,
inside we are so different,
when will you ever see?
You may think you understand,
but everything you will never know
is hidden behind this broken smile,
just waiting to be let go.
No one ever really understands
because no one has ever known,
you keep saying you want to help,
well, just leave me alone.
I refuse to let out the truth,
don't even attempt to try,
just walk away laughing,
just like every other guy.

just like I wanted, or did I?
I sit puzzled at my question,
and run to kiss you good-bye.

idk. I saw a girl at school fighting with her boyfriend saying they "broke up" then he walks away and she runs over to kiss him good-bye then says "See you Saturday night!" yeah, real break-up, huh? I kinda made up my own story with it and added what really happened at the end. kinda a twist from what you think will happen i guess.
