Let these fingers
Wrap round my soul
Let these fingers
Wrap round my heart
Small and soft
Fragile yet strong
To live
To love
Yet no life has begun
Without my own
I had not lived
Till she arrived
Her blue eyes gazed
Deep into my soul
Her little smiles tugged
Hard on my heart
Her wonderful laugh sounded
Loud in my ears
You have not lived
Till one gazes into your soul
Smiles at your heart
You have not lived
Till your child rests forever in your heart
Forever in your arms
I never lived
Until my Symphony smiled.
