What is the point of these pointless words?
Can you hear what my heart is saying on the inside?
Do you believe what only you can see?
“I will never...” I cannot say those three words without pain surfacing
Truth is only a stepping stone toward the final lie we all believe is myth
I’ll hold on to you until the real me is naked in front of crowded minds
Let us be ones who do not pretend a happy fate
Please entreat this plastic truth no more for a moments understanding
Leave these truths behind so we can face reality just for a moment

Powerful write, Josie. I liked the part of truth and stepping stone the best. It makes me think of all the theories people have about how life began, how different religions have different ideas, just interesting to wonder about which one out there may be closer to the truth about life.
