A twist of sunlight corrects my soul,
daggers of moon silently told,
footsteps left out in the cold,
are meant to be, yet growing old,
the void in me won't turn them gold,
and so the space will not unfold.

Wow, I love this one. Thanks for your entry.

I liked the poem a lot and am impressed that you put together such a beautiful piece working the the limitations of 10 - 50 words. This has a deep, kinda dark lonely feeling to it which gave me goosebumps first time reading it. Great write and good luck in the contest.
