he kissed her
on the forehead
on the cheeks
she hugged him hard
could not let go
kept holding on to him
and tears filling their eyes
do not go she said

they departed
both crying
just as soon as she turned her back
he disappeared
left to his fate
and in a blink
a shot was heard
a mother was killed
with her children around
her son
has just left to join the defense
some one said
and he gave her
a goodbye kiss
they both died
but just as he said
they are always there
alive
watching in despair
mourning over us
not us over them
a story
of a goodbye kiss
that we all miss
that we all crave for
from Palestine
in our hearts
they live within

wow.. this is heart breaking.. heart wrenching.. so sad. very well written, a fantastic form and way of writing---- VERY unique. this poem is actually terribly sad.. i read it twice over because it was so captivating.. very good job.. please keep this amazing writing up.. its a really good read and very worthwile!!

Awwww. this write broke my heart... It is so to the point and the imagery in this write totaly touched my heart and made me tear up a little!!! Sigh... its sad how many lives are lost over there.. I wish we could fight with nerf balls and water guns.... (In my dreams i know) Thank you for this penning!!
