I do Theatre, and I’m a Republican. Yes, the two can coexist.
I started humming along to the radio before I could talk.
I didn’t open my eyes for three days after I was born.
I started talking in full sentences at six months old.
 But I didn’t walk until I was a year.
There is home video somewhere of me at a year and a half old, point at a stage play on the tv and saying “Mommy, Mommy! That’s what I’m going to do when I get big.” and she said “Be on tv?” and I said No, and pointed to the Stage.
I’ve had at least seven concussions in my twenty one years of life.
I totaled three cars within a year and a half of having my drivers license, and none of the accidents were my fault.
I got drunk for the first time at thirteen, and didn’t drink again until I was eighteen, and then only once, and not again until I turned twentyone.
I learned to drive when I was seven, on an old ford truck in the field behind my house.
 I’m named after my mother.
I call my grandparents on my mothers side Bestemor and Bestefar, and my great-grandparents on her side Olemar and Olefar.
I’m half Norwegian and Danish, and half American Indian.
I had a little brother that died when I was nine.
When my parents got divorced, both of them used me as their psychiatrist and sounding board. I was fourteen.
My father doesn’t like me because I didn’t like the girlfriend he had while he was still married to my mother. She’s his wife now.
Sometimes I think my father forgets he has a daughter.
I am the second oldest of six children. And the only girl.
Sometimes I’m more of a mother to my mom than she is to me. And I’m perfectly okay with this.
I’ve basically lived out of my parents house since I was sixteen and a half.
I wanted to go back to go back home after a summer I’d spent pretty much gone, but my father made up lies and kicked me out so he could move his girlfriend in.
My older brother shot himself with a twelve gauge shotgun, buck shot, in the face my senior year of high school.
I only found this out because I happened to stop by the house the night it happened. No one had called me.
He was in the hospital for 5 weeks. I went and saw him every day, and only actually had a conversation with him once.
When he did it, I felt like I had failed. Like I should have been there to protect him and make sure he was ok.
I’ve never forgiven myself for it.
The only reason I haven’t killed myself by now, is that after it happened, he told me I couldn’t, because “only one of us gets to” and he “got to it first.”
I have a fourteen year old brother who worships the ground I walk on.
I don’t go see him nearly enough.
I only talk to my father three or four times a year. And I only see him at Christmas.
I wore make-up for about a month in middle school, until the day I didn’t wear it and was disgusted with what I looked like. That day I threw away all my make-up and have never worn it since, unless I was onstage, because I realized I wore make-up to cover who I was, so I don’t wear it unless I’m being someone else, unless I’m Acting. And that will never change.
I’ve been writing, poetry, stories, and songs, since I was 4. They’ve never been very good, but I’ve never stopped.
I care more about everyone I know than I do myself.
I have no self-esteem, but cover it by pretending I’m full of myself.
I fall in love way too easily.
I’ve only been in two real relationships, and I stayed in both of them longer than I should because the idea of hurting them made me want to die.
I’ve had upwards of a dozen men tell me I was the “perfect woman” or “all they’ve ever wanted” but other than the two that I dated, none of them have actually wanted to be with me.
I get very leery of men when they’re sweet to me, because I’m afraid that either they’re lying, or that I’ll break them.,
I have a horrible fear that no one will ever love me and I will be alone forever.
I’ve been single for the last year and a half because I’m afraid to get close to anyone.
That may also be due to the fact that I seem to be the girl that guys want to sleep with, but no one wants to be with.
My childhood best friend, who I’ve known for seventeen years this year, and I stopped hanging out in high school because all her friends hated me, but whenever anyone asked who my best friend was, she was still the first name I thought of.
She had a baby this year, I was one of the first people she told when she found out. We’re hanging out again, I am an auntie.
My favorite song is American Pie by Don Mclean because I can remember my older brother and I singing it when we were little kids. I’ve known all the words to it since I was 6 years old.
The first song I learned all the words to was Amazing Grace, I am not religious in the slightest, but it is still one of my favorite songs.
One day, when I was about twelve years old, I started singing “you belong to me” I couldn’t remember having ever heard the song, but I knew how it went, and the words, and my father heard me singing and smiled. And when I asked him if he knew why I knew that song, he said he used to sing it to me when I was a baby.
I want to name one of my daughters Kirsten Mariah. Kirsten, after my mother, and Mariah after the song “They call the wind Mariah” that Howard Keel sings in Paint Your Wagon, so that I can sing it to her.
I used to be a masochist in high school, and it’s still something I struggle with.
I forgive. Always. No matter what. Even when I shouldn’t.
I am Me. I have never fit in, and I’ve always been the odd one, but I will never change, not because I think I’m great the way I am, but because I don’t think anyone should try to be anything but what they are.

#12.) I really like your name for your grandparents. That's cute. (:
#18.) That must be tough! I kind of wish I had more siblings.
This list is probably one of the most straight-forward ones entered in this contest. (In a good way.)
I really enjoyed your list with its truthfulness and honesty.
Thank you for entering and good luck in the contest!
Best of wishes. (: -
Wow, I gotta say this is the best list I have read, you have a way of picking out just the right things to say. Even though it's just a list and not a poem it somehow flows really well. I hope you win
