When the clock stopped ticking

He sketched her off, in agony.
Disgrace upon a massacre, creation of doubt
Aching in ways unexplainable to the mouth.

Counting days, moments, hours
Following up with desperate attempts at redemption.
Unbridled from the start, etched far apart from her heart
So near and far the worlds grew tenderly close.

Hours and moments, as their worlds collide.
Trees embracing trees, waters embracing eachother
Gentle breezes reinventing the beautiful clouds.
These days, went by in pain
Her eyes grew darker and weeped a final goodbye
Her love, his love
Their final goodbyes

The subsiding sounds of his heart began to fade
She took his hand and embraced the pain
Dying as lovers, living as lovers
Finding similarities in heaven
Just as they did on earth.

Together for once,
For always,
And never apart
Their love stayed true
Till the last beat of his heart
