A million miles away

handcuffs, behind my back
for plant of peace paraphernalia
in the dystopic lands of north dakota
a PoW of the WoD

my coyote baby's two dose revelations
just a a few days gone
his tears over the phone were heart-felt
as the quantum sea he swam

i plead guilty, shaking my head
at how oblivious those around me
were to the injustice
the true crime of this moment

the judges of the system
only want their pay
it's not about true justice
beyond good and evil are they
in the worst ways imaginable
they get their pay

the number nine they said
as i was processed in
number of ganesha
opener of ways
number of lennon
martyr of david

i came back to california
kicky and like a snake
on a bus
so strange, almost surreal
to be in my baby's arms
the bio-survival anxiety
melting away. . .

Ganesha is the son of Shiva, Hindu God of Destruction, and an elephant-headed God. He is the opener of ways.

PoW of the WoD stands for "Prisoner of War of the War on Drugs."

      Cannabis is less addictive than alcohol and less harsh on the body than nicotine, and those are both legal. From a logical standpoint, cannabis has every right to be legal too. Even from a scientific standpoint. Even from an economic standpoint, as the plant is great for cloth, rope, etc.

      Which means some of our laws aren't based on any thing scientific, valid, or real. . .

      Millions of people are incarcerated over this plant.

      I hope Obama holds true to what he has said about how he is going to handle cannabis in the past.

        thats for certain. its all a game of economics. careful we dont start a NORML rally here but yeah, its sad what our government force feeds as acceptable poison while banishing good medicine.
