She who guides my path

Missing image

The hand I take, when I'm unsure
the voice which helps me to endure
the gentle coo as of the dove
you only can give me my love

The thoughts which bring purpose to be
which make the path unwind for me
with confidence and purpose too
this sustanance I draw from you

When ever I dream of future things
with hope for what tomorrow brings
I see you always at my side
most all enchanting, as my bride

My life was chaos till you came
with stormy spirits none could tame
but now my fears have ceased to be
for knowing you are here with me.

    Exquisite!

This is gorgeous, Ed! The flow is quite rhythmical, the rhyme perfect & not at all forced. No woman alive would be able to walk away from such uplifting words as you have spun here from pure gold threads. Why isn't this in a contest? For, surely, it would take the GOLD!

The picture is quite beautiful but doesn't quite fit this romantic poem.

    Much luv & hugs, SisBon

This is truly beautiful and sings as it's recited. The picture is also captivating as I am drawn to wonder just what she's thinking. The title is perfect!

    Love,
