Like a mirror it looked at me
on the mantel where it sat
I use to say I'd never be
a man who looked like that
But there is no hiding
the image on the wall
There is no deciding
I know I must stand tall
For I am my fathers son
and I must fight the fight
I must finish what's not done
for I am a knight
I will slay the dragon
that keeps us apart
You my princess will again
be back in my heart
On the mantel where it sets
in a broken frame
A picture that never lets
a boy forget his name
