Those who love
Always remember the ones
Who touch their hearts
And those who cherish them in return
Those who love
End up with broken hearts
Not once, nor twice or three times in a lifetime
But more than that
Those who love
Always can recall
The ones who they once loved
And those who once broke their hearts
Those who love
Always carry a special flame
Buried deep in their hearts
For the one whom they once loved, and still love
Although those who love and have loved
Have had it all and then had nothing all at once
They have the advantage
Over those who have not loved yet
Because they’ve learnt what it’s like to love.

I definitely agree with you. I'm just not on the happy side of love right now unfortunately.

very nice
Love is so complicated, but you must do it. If you keep your feelings locked inside and never express them it is worse than suffering a broken heart. Hearts mend, but loneliness is tragic. This is a sad poem in a way because it talks so much of breaking hearts. When you give your love away the feeling is wonderful and even if they break your heart later...the feeling is worth it! I agree! Love is a very powerful emotion and I really feel sad for people that don't have it or really experienced it.

I'm having an on going battle with my muse so it probably isn't fantastic.
But thank you again

I like this, it's well written. There are a few awkward parts though such as the last line in the first stanza. It just doesn't sound right to me..
"Those who love
End up with broken hearts
Not once, nor twice or three times in a lifetime
But more than that"
How true is that verse?! That has to be my favorite part of this poem because wow, there's so much truth in those words!
There's not much else to say about this poem. It was well written, the grammar is fine, not a single spelling mistake [thank you for that]. All in all, it's a good write.
Thank you for entering and good luck in the contest
