Remembering the way
I used to lie in your arms
And without doubt you’d say “your hair smells nice”
I can’t fight the tears welling in my eyes
I remember the first night
We spent the night together
And you woke up with this massive smile
Just because I was lying next to you
For so long
I was the reason for so many things
In your life
And it was the same for me with you
You were the reason for my smile
And you were the reason I laughed so much
You were the reason for the butterflies in my stomach
And you were the reason for my overall happiness
I was young and naive
In my head, I knew
I knew I shouldn’t have made you my everything
But in my heart, I was head over heals
A while on after we’ve split up
There’s tears welling in my eyes again
Because I know I’ll never forget
What an incredible first love you were.

Aww, this was cute and light and beautiful! I am sure many, MANY people can relate to this feeling =D You brought out the title wonderfully and I loved these lines the most:
