Some people think it’s good
To cover up all imperfections;
They think that it will save them
From any method of rejection.
I, however, think
The cause is truly wasted
And it’s a shame because
Their true persona can’t be tasted.
So throw down your masks,
Disregard your faux faces;
Let your true self shine through
And we’ll converge at unseen places!

Wow this is a lesson for me to learn! Perfectionism is a difficult trait to deal with so this is a great poem for all of us perfectionists to read. Thank you once again for the privilege of reading your incredible poetry!
