the tunnels of desire
flow deep
within his frame
the day he reaches
out to the sky
the birds over head drop dead mid-flight
how cool the water felt long ago
to dip your feet in
ever so slowly

this is fucking epic, the last stanza seems perfectly fitting in a way i can't describe. it's unexplainable but it seems that nothing else could have been said, that it was obvious for it to be there. or, i suck at interpretations. but this is great anyway

haha really? I thought the ending was too abrupt as all my endings are. though im glad it seemed to fit so well to you but i guess i wouldnt know any other way to end it, as you said.
