She tried so long to hide the truth inside,
afraid of being hurt again
even though when she looked at him
she could not see that.
But within that one kiss,
the truth came out
before she knew it.
Those three simple words
that she thought she would never say again,
and yet her lips spoke them to him.
Feeling her heart
that she thought was cold and unfeeling,
coming to life with such rapid heartbeat.
Looking into his eyes
she could see what he says is the truth,
and that she has nothing to fear from him.
It is now she found herself
longing for his kiss once again,
to make sure that this is true.
And when she does
she realizes that it is the truth,
and what she had feared
deep within her heart is now revealed.
As he holds her in his arms,
she finds herself saying those words
that she thought she never would again.
I love you.

This is a gorgeous poem with a lot of feelings(multiple) in it! It in innocent, it is raw and everyone can relate to this situation some way or the other! I like the simple tone used for expressing your work!! Well done!!
