In My World, There Is Only You

The winds gentle whisper your name,
not matter where I go
as it caresses my face
like the way you kiss me so gently.
Oh my Lady
there is nothing here more important
or more cherished than you,
and this world within my heart
is of you.
How I long to taste your kiss
and feel the warmth of your body next to mine.
To fine such beauty
all I need is to look upon you face,
to hear an angel speak
all I need is to hear you speak to me.
Oh my Love,
there is only you I do see,
as the world of this reality
melts away from my sight.
Just to be with you
is like being born again,
into a world all our own.
Yet I know that this world we are in,
this paradise so wondrous
is you my love.
You are vital to me
as air is to breath,
for you are my entire world
and without you
I am a lonely poet, a dreamer,
searching for what we have....
true love.

    Ok.

It's kind of cute. But also slightly cliched. But it is very sweet, and very romantic.

"How I long to taste your kiss
and feel the warmth of your body next to mine.
    To fine such beauty
all I need is to look upon you face,
    to hear an angel speak
all I need is to hear you speak to me."

Love those lines. They draw me in, and that's what I wanted most in this contest. To be drawn into the poem.

I'm not completely fond of the repetative "Oh my..." as to me, it sounds like its borderline obsession.

Thank you for entering and good luc
