Where begins the turn of time
when knowledge learned makes you wise?
* * * *
Tracks traced by creative impulse
finds souls illuminated
wonders breathed into life.
Truth exposed resonates without sense
of time and opens space's darkness.
A flame never goes out when it keeps
burning in everyone it touches.
We look back and find these people
who open us to living before we are experienced.
Speak of how their vision changed ours.
So much of their lives disappeared in mists
created by time and histories inability to keep
everyone’s life clear and present. No matter
how they loved, how they failed or were ignored,
they still reach us and shift us one wonder
after another, until we hail them, celebrate
the fires they lit inside of us.
The pop songs become folk memories,
the trysts are survived and the scars fade.
Still, we remember the touch of those we call Master.

Oh, well done. We do, we do, betimes, feel a touch, a trmeble, a whisper on our heart. Bravo!

So much of their lives disappeared in mists
created by time and histories inability to keep
everyone’s life clear and present.
And on the turning away, it's a sin that somehow light changes into shadow.
Words to heal, words to recite, on the wings of the night.
Utterly fantastic.
Love always,
jin

We are only as wise as our ability to translate our experience into knowledge we can share with another. True masters have us experiencing their message as if we are living it.

I always look forward to reading your words of wisdom. Pop songs indeed find their way through history, ever telling our stories and making us think. Pure joy in reading such uplifting words.

I don't know about being wise, I do know that it is easier to learn when guided. Great teachers do even more they inspire. I am no more than a student at the feet of giants. Thanks for stopping by and the thoughts.

I seek teachers, be it in books or in life. I am always learning. Being alive is to experience and validate what has been learned and build upon what is known.

Imaginable, breathtaking...
You are clear with your words like sounds of trumpets...
Where did your Intellect come from?
You, mystify me with so many subject matters.
You and your heart had to have many "Loves" and relationships, to fill your mind with such prophetic ponderings.
Excellent Poetry!

Life is an adventure. I have always let my curiosity lead me and explored many different subjects. Often, I search for a teacher and different points of view so I can garner as much as possible. There is so much to learn and so much I don't understand. Why not be open and available to learn and cherish all the wonder God put before us?

I guess I don't know them...only master I know is my Lord, God and Saviour...
this makes strange magic, brother...any way thanks for the read.

Be it Da Vinci or the Margret Snyder, an elderly woman in my Meeting, they manage to cast illumination where none had been before and bring me closer to the Spirit. I have always felt that God brings guides into my life from many sources and it is my job to heed them.
