I wish that the world could change but I don't think there is much hope in that. One coffin is too many. So many have sacrificed their lifes for our freedom. May they never be forgotten. Your few words speak such truth.

    Excellent Senryu!

With 17 words you have filled a 747 with the painful facts of both war and the sorry state of affairs our world has become and man cannot change. Alas, it is too late; for now only God can renew what man has destroyed.

Excellent writing, dearest Cynthia, and a GOLD winner as far as I'm concerned! By the way, I went to high school with a "Cynthia Gaines," but I don't believe you are old enough to be her.

    Luv & hugs, BonnieQ
