crone relinquishes the light child, nourishing bold.
burning beryl traces pure, the hardy evergreen~
in arms of mother's love, humming creamy ewe's milk clean.
long basket of the bride's bed, ribbons protective fold.
dissonance of dire deeds, dispersed into the cold
laurel leaves for wishes seeds, reaffirms what is told.
growing seasons' hidden lights, blanketed in between
~child nourishing bold.
frosted piles of her feather bed, lengthens its hold
regeneration's cup fills, albino to green-gold.
supple limbs to strength, flowing florid to lusty sheen.
doubt not star blessings undeclared, what cannot be seen~
trust in restoration, solar springtime to unfold.
~time to clear out the old.
Author notes
Prompt: Resurrection
Dual-Refrain Rondeau
Picture credit: "On My Way To Narnia" by Awaroa
"the heart that is without empathy
and does not care about the path of
destruction it leaves behind,
will move quickly, and keep running
until it runs out of breath
and crumbles into forgotten dust.
the heart that resurrects
...is far more robust.
It believes its' own principles
and walks them daily.
It holds Love, giving, sharing
and true light, and will not run.
it will forever remain the example
upon which others draw their own strength,
no matter what is thrown at it."

The message put to form gains focus and momentum as it goes. I admire the interplay of shadings, textures that breathe dimensions into
what is being shared. Thank-you so much~! Blue -
