Announced by Ellen,
I dance down the ramp
and on to the stage
to the Who's song
"Momma's got a squeeze box'
And the audience
applauds.
Strutting down the aisle
in my best Travolta style
I point my right hand
at the ceiling then
down across my body.
and the audience
screams
Bound and determined
to show Ellen up
I move my hips
In a suggestive way
and the audience
cheered.
Grabbing Ellen’s shoulders,
I spin her around
and hump her leg
like the dog I am
and the audience
roars
as I lower myself
into the chair.

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: "Ellen, eat your heart out".
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and after reading several times~ I am Honored also Humbled You took the time to pen for my contest
You took the prompt and ran with it~ Bravo!!

When I digest words written, images come through that grab hard~
I have to say- when I read Your words~
"Momma's got a squeeze box'
My drink shot out my nose
Oooooh the images alone with the Travolta suit and grabbing Ellen's leg is hilarious~I could see it ALL
-rolls on the floor laughing- Keep that up the ladies in the audience will be like Girls Gone Wild- even the 85 year old granny without teeth~
Oh my tummy hurts~

Bound and determined

In a suggestive way

Thank you Sweety
Since I don't really dance all that well, I thought I would inject some humor in this piece.
It isn't really a poem but I learned how to dance by reading it
I appreciate your kind words and your humor. You make contests fun
Love ya,
Richard

Wow! What an entrance! And one I'm sure Ellen herself would admire. This descriptive verse of bravato dances it's self down the page on legs of it's own.

thanks again sweety
This was for a contest by Desire. It was meant to be funny because I think that is what Desire wanted from me. I hope!
