Joy In Every Day

The beauty of seeing the sunrise beaming into my window letting me know there is light to guide me
The wondrous sight of the butterfly as it goes about flying among the flowers
The birds spreading their wings to fly and taking flight
The clouds in the sky and the magnificent shapes you can see in each one
A rainbow at the end of a rainy day

The smile from a stranger or a friend
Words spoken from the heart and soul and shared
Watching a favorite show on TV
Enjoying your favorite meal
Savoring your favorite drink

Love!  Yes, sharing time with someone you feel complete with
Soul connections, life connections, love connections
Helping someone and knowing how much it means to them and how good it feels to you
Listening to music and wanting to get up and dance

Sunset, knowing tomorrow hold so many wonderful things
Drifting into a relaxing sleep and having a wonderful dream that’s not forgotten
Writing  poetic verse that comes straight from your soul that everyone loves to read and can relate to

    Stunning

Bud, this was very beautiful and powerful. I'm sure that everyone can relate to this. It's the simple things in life that mean so much to us.
I'm glad that I stopped by to see what you have written. This poem just makes me feel comforted. Beautiful, Bud, beautiful.
I hope you've been doing well these days.

Your prose far exceeds the 50 word limit. You have until February 2, 2009 to edit. When, and if you do 'edit', please place; [edit] in your title, and I will come back to post a comment on the poem.

    Thanks!
