Then you ask yourself, to simplify
The extent of complication;
Forbidding love to come what way, but why?
Should the depth from explanation,
Be to doubt 'most anyone?
Relax, sit back and think a little
Then why not make attraction fun,
Do not make suspicion brittle.
Then you tell yourself, no alibi!
This time, trust your sense of skill;
To equal out, not sanctify-
But hold their hand and trust what will,
Forever be the first enthralling touch
Mingling minds shall tune the hilt
With interests gained and sharing things
Emotions host, relations built,
Prepare the voyage for gallant wings,
Then you ask yourself, why hurry?
The gift of having someone close
Has all but healed the rift of worry
Doing things that both can boast;
Then share a meal, a show, the park
And there, not once are others seen
It's light, it may as well be dark!
To understand what love can mean.
Then you tell yourself, Instead!
Where love is found there's no tomorrow
Find today, and share what dread
What loneliness was there to borrow;
Nothing did it solve, nothing had evolved
But something came from it to simplify
The birth that from a miracle, involved,
A love that's non-compared to the supply.
