Death Is Not The End

"Maybe it won't matter"

She thought as the blade touched her skin

"No one will even care"

"They'll just say she couldnt win"

She ran the blade down

across her arm towards the vein

She gazed briefly out the window

To watch the falling rain

That was when the phone rang

It was her best friend

Calling just to say she cared

And that death was not the end

When she put the phone down

She layed the blade upon the table

She realized that someone cared

And that she would be able.
