Was the day my world fell apart
The years I spent with you
Were filled with horror and pain
You broke my heart
But I stayed
I thought I could change you
But you only wanted to see me suffer
I felt I could not escape
So I would try to hide my tears
People would try to help me
But I only made up excuses for you
So i have come to say
The day you said good-bye
Was the day I gained my strength

for a 12 year old this is very powerful power and got me a lil in the heart its sooo true. and getting rid of the person we love is hard but sometimes in order to live we have too. thanks!
