Fearful(Jue Ju)

In the fog shrouded forest
I cautiously wend my way
One tiny step at a time
In the distance a wolf howls.

Author notes

My first attempt at Jue Ju,at least I hope it is.

The Jue Ju is Chinese poetry, four lines of 5 or 7 syllables describing a state of mind. There are a number of links on Google
search "Jue Ju poetry".Hope this is helpful.

I suppose there is a certain way of making a poem like this? the name (Jue Ju) seems like a translation. Is this poem originally in another language? If so, I would like to hear about it. if not, I still want to hear about it.

Nicely done Bill, I think this is one of the best oriental forms. So much harder to write than they appear. To create an emotion/feeling in just 28 sylables takes some doing, and you have done it well.
