A heavy ebony fog conceals
The dulling rainbow of life
Weighting my soul
Further into depths of solitude
Sunshine stubbornly hides
Behind trivial puzzles of lunacy
Abandoning me in a desperate reality
Yet I continue fantasies of
An illuminated exsistance
Praying for a hint
Leading me to what is lost
Weary threads of faith bend
With each crushing blow
Holding strong in the faith
Of an ancient promise

Thank you for the great comment and thanks for hosting such a great contest.
Sometimes I tend to need a reminder of what and why tragedy occurs in our lives and that there is a point.
So contests such as this one helps bring me back to where I know the truth is.
