~ Beyond the Curtain of Night

I enchanted the clouds with thoughts of you and me
As the curtain of night fell over the town of Lonely..
Where the lost soul went flying down the wet lane
I found myself struggling, chasing the rain again..

All the way to heavens and back, I stumbled and fell
The bruises were healing as I made my way to the hell..
Wet with the tears of the sky, I found my solitary delight
As in the darkness of night, I took yet another crazy flight..

Forever tonight, I found the lost strength of long ago
Some supernatural power inside, I did not know..
Drenched in love, my youth fell over my mind so easily
I’m the Solitude, I'm the Soledad, your forever company..

    Lovely!

You're such an inspiration to me, your heart, and the way the words flow from your angelic soul. You lift me up, and I so appreciate you being a friend to me. Love you so much lonely, as always, a blessing to read you once again as you pen.
