i hope you only know
what you do means to me
although we are strangers
you provide life for me to be free

you provide the world with hope
for continuing joy and peace
god can only know
just what you mean to me.

never let anyone or anything
bring a single doubt upon your mind
the honor in what you do is far
the most honored job of mankind.

i will pray for nothing only
of your safe return home
to the love and warmth of your love ones
the ones you're protecting from harm.

so never you think for a minute
you're duty is taken too likely at all
cause all together we'll stand
and only divided we will fall.
