Swathed in silk with pearls adorn’d,
O’erflourish’d with grandeur and grace.
Unto her beauty all do passionately subscribe,
And stand erect in military salute,
For all desire to have her handsomeness,
In some way or sordid other.
Lips of dusted claret do entice,
And all fault in manner is o’erlook’d,
So that to the eye, untrained and naive,
She is perfection under the light of day.
