I'm Trying Not to Smile (Because I Know You're Looking)

Oh why can't I be what you need?
I want someone to love me
And it's all in how you mix the two.
Here we are in life.

I linger in the doorway
Close your eyes and make-believe this is where you want to be.
Take my photo off the wall
It feels like the weight of the world
This never was the way I planned.

Suddenly I fall victim to the combination of autumn leaves and bribery
So I run and hide and tear myself apart.
If we cut out the bad, then we'd have nothing left.
You said there's no solution in your heart
I can't see your star.

Beauty over wisdom to fit in with their styles
What if I wanted to break?
When I see your smile, the tears run down my face
Why are you still here with me?
You might be just what I need
I wanted you to know I love the way you laugh.

Author notes

Created by taking the first verses of 20 songs set on random on my iPod. You can't rearrange them. The 21st song's first verse is the title. These are fun to do ^_^ Mine turned out pretty good...didn't need to rearrange anything, and the music fit pretty well together.

Whaddya think?

I like how well those lines actually go together. It doesnt seem so random, like some can turn out. By the way i totally like your music choice, i reconized alot of the songs you got the lines from =)

      Yay! <3

Yeah, as my AN said, I was really surprised at the turnout of the lyrics...they were almost perfect.
