Postal SCAM alert

Beware of letters from Canada speaking of Lotto wins. There have been several in this area over the last couple days. The letter and
a small check, my friends was $5400.00 of your much larger winnings is included but there is a line in the letter that says you must prepay taxes. And to send...

that tax payment to them by "WESTERN UNION" and then they would send the rest of your winnings.

The questions you should ask if you receive something like this are

1. Did I enter anything in Canada where I actually could have won anything?

2. Why must I sent them ANY money, why can't they just take out
what I "owe" in pretaxes out of the big check before they send me
ALL of my winnings, minus that bogus tax of course.?

I was kind of sad I didn't get one of those letters in the mail
because I would have set up a sting operation on their butt.

I usually receive the email version of this postal version
a few times a week.

One spammer even said they were the FBI and said they were
tracking a person who was trying to steal my identity. The only
"flaw" here was it came from the Seattle office which would NOT
be the one I would get it from.

But of course the foreigners doing this scam probably
had no idea about that little fact...

BTY: My rich uncle died in Nigeria and left me 40 trillion dollars
but I can't get it out of the country. Would anyone "I have never met"
be interested in helping me out for say 100 million of it...lol

Have a lovely week...

Eddy

My favorite spam one said they were from the FBI and where investigating
my identity theft and to log in so they could track and capture them...lol
It was sent from FBI in Seattle which is NOT my area FBI so I immediately
knew it was a fake. I even sent it to the FBI as I thought they might get
a kick out of it as well... )

Oh, don't you just feel like strangling those people who send craps to you? I usually even don't open any email if I don't know the sender, I click delete and hope they get flushed into the spam sewer

But just in case, if you win any lottery, send a gift to Belgium
