Time gone by, lost forever.
No need to dwell, it’s only the past.
To make mistakes, just human nature.
To learn from this, the lessons last.
The wrongs we right,
Are the songs we sing.
The words so sweet.
The melody to bring.
We were all young once.
Prone to confusion.
Life’s ups and downs,
clouded with illusion.
What we have is this moment.
Yesterday and tomorrow don't really exist.
Older now, our time is precious.
So be true to yourself and don't resist!
What did you think

a good poem, aye, sing the songs of now and go with the flow of life and smiles, the past is the past and the future we create.

loved the poem...also agreed with it.. -
Such a nice poem. I really explains how you should except life as it is... and that you shouldl enjoy it all before it is all gone. I really liked the line "To make mistakes, just human nature."

Way to go..... -
sentimental. straight forward. bluntly told. very matter of fact. but woeful too. lessons learned are important. youve portrayed this well here. clever writing. but simple enough to understand.well done. Emmyb
