Military Boots and Bondage Pants

Take a chance and breathe deep,
why choose air,
when smoke is comatose.

The pills distribute,
light and day,
night and moon,
what difference does it make?

Hand me a forty,
a shot,
and some vodka,
I've had such a rough week,
Just fuck the pain away.

Why would I need angels,
when I have friends?
My hands are empty,
my heart is set,
my pestilence provoking,
a certain thought.

I may be young,
with no hope,
but the endless circumstance,
that is life,
holds no shame,
no bitter little morals,
like Jesus,
or his apostles,
could ever tell me no.

I am King of this shit,
and this shit is mine,
try to take it,
and I'll burn out your eyes,
spit down your throat,
and remind you,
just how pathetic you are.

I may be young,
with no hope,
but I'm still alive,
breathing,
or at least trying,
which part of "fuck off",
don't you understand?

Author notes

i was such a shit growing up. In fact, even though i now know i am the shit, I at least give people the time of day. I had no shame when i was younger, if it seemed appealing i did it. I played chicken on the tracks, got drunk...a lot, got high.... a lot, smoked about two packs a day, and did absolutely nothing remotely close to responsibility. It landed me in mental hospitals and fours day a week of therapy. Psssh....like they could understand me . oh the misunderstood teenager years. I was lucky i never got an std later. I think i fucked every gay man in the tri state area. usually without protection. just because it seemed like fun.

haha its incredible how invisible we think we are during our youth, especially when 99% of the actions we pose are the spitting image of stupidity. you portrayed this state of mind very well, and trust me i know, i used to be just like that
