Found At Last

My Darling Dakota;

what if I should

travel the cosmos
without your laugh
or peer unaccompanied
into celestial nights
without repose
from your arms

what if I should

see the sunrise
without your smile
or stir, isolated
from my pillow
lacking comfort
from your hands

what if I should

shed teardrops
or bear sorrow
without your tenderness
or sense hollowness
without solace
from your heart

what if I should

relish annihilation
without your grin
and feel adrift
or disheartened
without assuagement
from your love

do you not perceive

you are my predestination
and you are the existence
upon my very breath

at long last
I have found you

    Excellent!

This is a delight to read 1der, that you should have found that "special one" is evident throughout the whole of your poem.
No doubt many would gladly walk in your shoes, that each one should experience all you write of here goes without saying.

I love the background you have used here, well done with this piece and thank you for the opportunity of being able to read this.

There is great depth of emotion flowing across the page here. It feels as if the words flew freely from your pen, nothing forced, nothing to cause one to stumble or struggle over, I like that. This is a read that can be appreciated on numerous levels. This one has merit. Good luck in the contest here.

Being the sentimental fool that I am, this almost makes me want to cry. INot having someone like this in my life, nor having ever known such I love, I can only hope than some day I could be this lucky and this blessed. Your words always hold me mesmerized. I can really feel this one.

When you get hit with the writing bug, you REALLY get hit Lady. This flows with so much love and yearning that one cannot help but feel the longing in each finely penned line. I think we would all like to be found by a love such as this. Good work. Keep them coming.

I envision someone sitting down at a desk and pouring words such as these from their heart and spreading them across a page meant for that some special. That one and only that can fill all the voids in their life. This is simply superb writing. There's nothing here I could make a negative comment about. Good luck in the contest!
