Sweet with a luscious twist,
Always making your cravings rage.
Like roses to the scent and chocolate to the brain.
Releasing endorphins of all designs.
Making you crazy with lust and burn with hatred,
As you crave me and need me with your day to day routines.
Can you taste me? Feel me?
Aching in your membranes as you count the seconds I'm not yours.
Feel as thou you need me,
Doubt the feeling that I gave you.
I'm a taste so sweet,
That bitter to the touch;
If felt unwanted or neglected.
I can make you feel high as drugs,
Or tear you down and shatter the blessing.
I am a taste so sweet,
Like ginger ale to an alcoholic.
Or cake to an anorexic child
In dire need of help
Yet hidden from society's beliefs,
In what's wrong and right to love.
I'm the taste of lust,
Creation, flowers, youth,
Eternal love and solitude.
I am all that you would crave,
If you ever had a taste.
