Oh my dear

It was a wonderful afternoon
I saw you for the first time,
two wide open eyes as if lotus
blossomed in your calm lake of face
I looked on and on unknowingly,
you shied away your eyes from me.

I remember that night you were
dressed like a princess, you came and
greeted me with flowers waving them
around me by your petal soft palms.
Light glittered, music amazed
I got lost in a wonderful world.

You wrote so many sweet letters,
called me with adorable names
when I had to leave you back
to perform my duty, you did it so well!

Now we are together
can hardly leave each other
as we travel to mountain or to sea shore.
May God bless us forever!

    I think this poem is very well done. One small suggestion is that I would put a line break between the stanzas making it easier to read and digest each one. Just a thought
