Breathing Lies

You've got me mesmerized by your words.
I can't focus thoughts as your lips move.
I'm falling under the spell you weave.
All you're doing is breathing lies.

You twist and you turn your words
And the phrases I long to hear are spoken.
And I'm falling under the spell you cast
With every twitch of your lips.

All you're doing is breathing lies.
Nothing, not even partial truths.
But I can't help but slip into your grasp
Because I can't fight the magic.

Keep speaking to me the way you do,
I'm so hypnotized by these flowing words.
But they aren't even half truths.
All you ever do to me is breathe lies.
