To the Friends of a Freak

No one is ever quite sure
Of what clique I belong in.
But that doesn't matter anymore
Because at least I've a multitude of friends.

To today's newfound club and teammates,

For a girl who's run into as much trouble as I have,

I know I'll never have to be alone when I know you will
Hold me up through the rights and wrongs.

So here's to you my old and new friends
As our lives slowly drift astray.
The lights in our eyes may fade, but friendship never ends.
