Matching tonight with a day in the past,
Can’t explain what it was, that night,
A star sent from God to catch my eye,
In a sense, it was all mine.

Figures form delicately somewhere out in space,
They show us all, our beauty is fake,
For beauty doesn’t really exist,
In creatures of habit,
In creatures of death.
Does it make you cry that you know what you are?
So fake it all, with a knife on your wrist,
Rip the skin away from the world,
Use it to patch up the heart stolen from you
What makes you snap?
Your smiles are a bloody mess,
You always tell me tears won’t make it go away,
But your eyes can’t hide the misery, the happiness you know you robbed,
It only goes to show,
What we’ve all become.
Perfection died with your innocence,
Do you really still think it’s ok?
You speak harsher lies than what was ever told to you,
Like a monster just released, you thrash your claws at your own kind.
What made you snap?
