Just because,
My lips of ruby wine once laid playfully on yours,
and emerald eyes erased heartaches momentarily.
While my silken flesh shelters my inner sanctum,
I chose to bestow upon you, your own river of dreams,
awaiting my own to inhale, so that I may breathe.
Of-course I knew you would fall deeply for my facades,
just as jet hair spirals sensually past soft shoulders.
I can feel the touch of your eyes tracing each curve.
You're intoxicated with scents of nectar deceits,
resembling stringed puppets I often manipulate,
you ignite easily, within one glance to your gaze,
but drench whatever passion is left inside lustful flames.
For I’m way beyond reach, as I fade like a sunset,
you’re just another bracelet around my wanton wrist.
Sounds calloused, though I blossom like a rose of thorns,
syringes of poisonous pang, taint each teardrop.
You taste venom spewed into your innocent tongue,
you'll remain a victim of what you thought love was.
And live a daily dose of insignificant dreams.
Just because…

There's not much to say that hasn't already been said by the other poets. I always admire your creativity and I wish you all the best, always.
