whats in a kiss?
a crime of passion and lust.
what's in a kiss?
a sign of love and trust.

a move with such meaning
an action with such power
never dull in a moment
nor changing in any hour


lips to lips
a lovers sweet tie
lips to cheek
perhaps saying goodbye

what's in a kiss?
a feeling beyond plain
what's in a kiss?
a lingering bliss that will remain

to describe such a gift
is beyond my skills with words
it is natural and surreal
amost flying like the birds.

yet a darker power
resides in a kiss.
betrayel and pain
that morosly exists


what's in a kiss?
the seed of affair is bestowed
what's in that kiss?
the punishment for lies is owed

lips meet someones whom they do not belong
there lies and hatred intertwine
in a moment of lust
they sink to a level of swine


but as for me
I preffere the definiton that is first
the one of loved
and not one of thirst.
